Olympic Torch Relay In Anshan, Liaoning Province
The Olympic Torch Relay in Anshan kicked off at approximately 0800 local time on July 18. Anshan leg covered a total distance of 7.3 kilometers, with some 175 torchbearers involving in the relay. China’s most experienced Olympic athlete, Wang Yifu was the first torchbearer. The shooter had made 6 successive appearances from 1984 to 2004 Olympics. Construction of Anshan Iron & Steel Group’s northern R&D center begins
2008-06-11 Beijing Anshan Iron & Steel Group began constructing its northern R&D and distribution middle in Tianjin Airport Industrial Park. The middle, which will have an area of 6,520 square meters, is the group’s major project after its largest steel processing and distribution facility in North China.
